From Broumov to the quiet Javoří Mountains and Głuszyca

A training and relaxing route through the peaceful Javoří Mountains, featuring two sections of challenging climbs, rewards you with beautiful views and enjoyable descents.

Broumov – Olivětín – Janovičky – Głuszyca – Janovičky – Broumov

Route description

The route starts with a fairly steep climb in Broumov and continues along the road to Olivětín as far as the Opat brewery in Broumov. There, turn right and ride up the long incline to the village of Janovičky, in the heart of the Javoří Mountains. There, you can take a break for some refreshments and head through the tourist border crossing to Poland, to the town of Głuszyca, or continue on the Javoří Mountains biking route which follows forest trails. The Javoří Mountains circuit is fairly challenging, so we recommend that smaller or less experienced bikers head back down the hill from Janovice and turn right at the first fork to get to Heřmánkovice. After the steep descent, turn left and continue through the village of Heřmánkovice to the crossroads. Turn left again and follow the road to the brewery and back to Broumov.
